Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and customer-focused Cashier to handle customer transactions accurately and efficiently. The Cashier will process payments, issue receipts, assist customers, and maintain an organized checkout area while providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Process cash, card, and other approved payment methods accurately.
• Scan and record products correctly.
• Issue receipts and provide correct change when required.
• Handle cash and maintain accurate cash records.
• Verify prices, discounts, promotions, and applicable offers.
• Assist customers with basic inquiries and product-related questions.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
• Balance the cash register at the beginning and end of shifts.
• Report discrepancies, damaged items, or payment issues to the supervisor.
• Follow company procedures for cash handling and customer service.
• Support other store operations when required.

Requirements

• Previous cashier or customer service experience is preferred.
• Basic mathematical and cash-handling skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Honest, reliable, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer/POS system knowledge is an advantage.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, weekends, and holidays when required.
