Job Description



We are seeking a detail-oriented Marine Inspector for Port Construction Supervision to join our organization in Kuwait. In this role, you will oversee and inspect marine construction projects at port facilities, ensuring compliance with international maritime standards, local regulations, and safety protocols. You will serve as a key supervisory figure, responsible for evaluating construction quality, identifying potential risks, and providing comprehensive recommendations to project stakeholders. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, decisive judgment, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of marine construction excellence.

  • Conduct thorough inspections of port construction projects, including dredging operations, breakwater construction, dock facilities, and marine infrastructure installations
  • Analyze construction methodologies, materials, and workmanship against established maritime standards and regulatory requirements
  • Prepare detailed inspection reports documenting findings, non-conformances, and recommendations for corrective actions
  • Supervise and coordinate with construction teams, contractors, and project managers to ensure compliance with approved plans and specifications
  • Monitor adherence to safety protocols and environmental regulations throughout all construction phases
  • Evaluate structural integrity and quality of marine construction work using specialized inspection techniques and equipment
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of all inspections, test results, and project milestones
  • Communicate inspection findings and recommendations to project leadership and regulatory authorities
  • Identify potential risks and hazards, providing guidance on mitigation strategies
  • Ensure all construction activities align with local Kuwait maritime regulations and international standards
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve construction-related issues and optimize project outcomes

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience in marine or port construction inspection and supervision
  • Demonstrated expertise in maritime construction standards, protocols, and best practices
  • Proficiency in construction inspection methodologies and quality assurance procedures
  • Excellent analytical and assessment skills with the ability to evaluate complex construction scenarios
  • Advanced attention to detail and commitment to identifying non-conformances
  • Proven supervisory or coordination experience in construction or marine environments
  • Solid understanding of marine engineering principles and port infrastructure systems
  • Knowledge of safety compliance standards and environmental regulations in maritime construction
  • Ability to work independently and make decisive judgments regarding construction quality
  • Physical capability to conduct on-site inspections in various weather conditions
